No. Choose a template and change its details and words. Layout, lettering and layer adjustments are optional. You can download a preview of the composition.

The date, local time, time zone, latitude and longitude determine the calculated view. Names and dedications change the design, not the astronomical positions.

Turn off “I know the time.” The designer uses 22:00 local time and labels it as illustrative. That is a chosen reference, not a claim about the unknown exact moment.

Yes. The chart can represent celestial positions during daylight. It does not claim those stars were visible to the naked eye or reconstruct the brightness of the daytime sky.

Enter local clock time and the correct time zone for the place. The calculation handles the offset. If a clock change makes the time ambiguous or nonexistent, check the event details before continuing.

Yes. Open “Another place? Enter coordinates” and supply a place label, latitude, longitude and an IANA time zone such as Europe/Madrid. Changing only the place label does not change the coordinates.

The current designer accepts dates from 1900 through 2050. Its preview has documented astronomical simplifications; it should not be described as an observatory-grade reconstruction.

No. Clouds, daylight, terrain, buildings and light pollution are not reconstructed. A calculated sky and what a person could actually see are different things.

Neither. KeptStars creates astronomical artwork for an event. It does not interpret horoscopes, assign official star names or transfer ownership of a star.

The preview calculates a local sky from catalogue positions, with limits explained on our astronomy page. It omits precession, proper motion and atmospheric refraction. Rendered Moon and planet images are enlarged; the Milky Way panorama has about 1–2 degrees of local alignment uncertainty.

Yes. The date, time and coordinates all inform the calculation. The map does not reconstruct clouds, light pollution or the actual viewing conditions that day.

Yes. Edit the event details, wording, colours and fonts. You can also change the sky count, arrangement, orientation and selected layers. A template is a starting point.

From one to six. Each sky has its own event details. More skies leave less space for each map and its labels, so review the composition at your chosen size.

The designer offers classic, modern and monospaced font families. The title allows 70 characters, the dedication 100 and each moment label 40. Those limits do not guarantee that every layout will be equally readable.

Yes. The designer offers several dimensions and portrait or landscape layouts. It updates the preview proportions. A selectable design size does not yet confirm supplier availability for a printed or framed product.

The designer draws a fast catalogue-star preview. Rendered examples can include the Milky Way, Moon and planets through a separate process. Selecting a layer does not mean that the browser preview already renders it.

No account is required. You can design, save and continue as a guest. Guest saves are available in the same browser for 30 days. Once payments open, checkout will ask for an email address and send a private order link after payment. Keep that email to return from another device.

The language switch keeps your working draft in the same browser tab. It changes the interface and generated labels, while your names, title and dedication remain your own text.

Yes. The original example lines in our dedication guide are starting points. Change the details to fit your own memory, and check the final wording and line breaks in the designer.

Their name, birth date and place. Add the local birth time if you know it to represent that particular moment. The dedication and styling changes are optional.

Yes. Names, the title and the dedication are editable. The template is a starting point and does not require a wedding date.

Ordering is not open yet and we are not promising delivery dates. You can prepare and save the design now. Availability, shipping and the delivery estimate for your address must be confirmed before purchasing.

No. The map uses the event details you enter. You do not need to upload a certificate or family photograph. Include only the personal wording you want in the artwork.

The marked preview is for checking the layout. It is not prepared or sold as a print-ready file. Wait for the final artwork at the intended dimensions before ordering a print.

Read every name, date, place and dedication. Check the time reference, selected size, crop, sky count and layout. A final production proof must be reviewed separately from the browser preview before the order is released.

That is the purpose of the planned digital option. Use the final file at its intended size and ask the printer to confirm resolution, margins, bleed and colour requirements. Printing and framing would be separate purchases.

No. Changing the aspect ratio can crop the artwork, add margins or stretch it. Choose the final dimensions first, and never stretch a circular sky to fit a different rectangle.

Not yet. The website images are rendered artwork examples. Paper, colour, framing, packaging and delivery have not yet been verified through physical sample orders.

There are no paid digital deliveries yet. The planned flow requires payment and approved, completed artwork before access to final files. We are not promising an instant download time.

A final download link can expire or be revoked. It is separate from the free layout preview. When delivery is available, a valid purchaser can return to their order to obtain access; keep a local copy after downloading.

No. They are illustrative pilot prices in euros. Final product prices, applicable taxes, shipping charges and availability must be confirmed before checkout opens.

Spain is a planned launch market. Supplier coverage, eligible products and destination-specific shipping are still being confirmed. We are not accepting physical orders or promising worldwide delivery yet.

The destination and postcode help determine available delivery services and their cost. A mainland estimate should not be treated as a quote for islands or other territories. The actual address must be checked before payment.

Not at this stage. Production and shipping estimates are not yet published. Do not rely on KeptStars for a deadline until the available service and delivery estimate for your address are confirmed.

The tracking arrangements will depend on the supplier and shipping service chosen for launch. We will show the available delivery information before accepting physical orders.

You can edit your draft now. The rules for changes after purchase will be published before checkout opens. Do not assume a change can be made after artwork approval or production has started.

The policy has not yet been finalized because sales are not open. Before purchases are accepted, the site must explain cancellation, returns, damaged items and digital-delivery terms, including applicable customer rights.
