We use a star catalogue and your chosen date, time and coordinates to calculate positions. The examples show rendered artwork with the Milky Way and other celestial elements; the designer uses a simpler chart preview.
It is not a photograph of the past: it does not recreate clouds or light pollution. The Moon and planets, when shown, are enlarged for the composition.
How we represent the skyWhich date should I choose for an anniversary star map?
Whichever you want to remember: when you met, your first date, a wedding or another important moment. If choosing one is difficult, you can include several in the same design.
Is this for both relationship and wedding anniversaries?
Yes. Names, the title and the dedication are editable. The template is a starting point and does not require a wedding date.
Can I get it by a particular date?
Ordering is not open yet and we are not promising delivery dates. You can prepare and save the design now. Availability, shipping and the delivery estimate for your address must be confirmed before purchasing.
How many skies can I put in one design?
From one to six. Each sky has its own event details. More skies leave less space for each map and its labels, so review the composition at your chosen size.
